We explain our hiring process

How we work at Volair®

First, we listen to your idea

Tell us about the project you need

We listen to your requirements. Tell us what you want to film or photograph from above, provide the location, and let us know the time or date you want it done.

We provide guidance

We’ll let you know if it’s feasible

Once we understand what you need, we will advise you honestly. We’ll let you know whether the law allows us to carry out your project, whether it can be done at the specified location, and the potential risks involved (such as bad weather) if the date is fixed.

If it’s possible, we’ll do it

If it’s legally possible, the only thing left is for you to agree on our price

Once advised, you’ll know whether your project is feasible. If so, we’ll send you a quote, which you’ll need to approve before we carry out the work.

If we agree, we get started

After you approve our quote, we’ll work out the details

After you approve our quote, we’ll execute the work according to your specifications, ensuring maximum dedication and safety. The raw photos or video will be delivered upon completion, and any editing will be quoted separately.

We operate in accordance with European and Spanish RPAS laws

Why work with Volair®?

Urban area flights are carried out only with AESA approval

The new Law 1036/2017, which regulates RPAS operations in Spain, allows flights over urban crowds under certain conditions. If you wish to carry out a flight in a populated area, we must request a special permit from AESA. Therefore, please contact us well in advance of the planned flight date.

Night flights are carried out only with special AESA authorisation

Law 1036/2017, which governs RPAS operations, permits night flights under specific conditions. To perform a night flight, a special AESA authorisation is required, so please get in touch with us well before your intended date.

We only fly under safe weather conditions

We only operate in safe weather conditions: no flying in rain, high winds beyond our drone’s capacity, or fog with visibility less than 5 km.

We do not fly over crowds of people

We maintain a safe distance from people when filming events, ensuring our work is carried out securely.

We do not fly during geomagnetic storms

We do not fly on days or at times when the geomagnetic storm index (Kp Index) exceeds level 5. This index varies hourly throughout the day.

Our permits and insurance are all current and valid

All our permits are in order, and you can check them for verification. We were trained at an authorised ATO, are an operator authorised by AESA/EASA, and maintain all mandatory insurance policies.
